| Jim Soda Instructor/Owner | | Jim Soda is the newest addition to Seasports in October of 2007.
Jim’s first experience with diving was in Grand Cayman in 1989. He promptly completed his open water and started to explore many of the Caribbean dive spots. After becoming an instructor in 2007, Jim decided to see the world and traveled through Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Vanuatu, Fiji and Europe. And now he has come full circle to where it all started.
Jim is from Windsor, Ontario Canada where the diving was too cold for his taste. Jim ran a successful computer consulting business for 12 years before deciding to lose the long pants. He now loves teaching new divers and finding those little creatures that you probably pass by looking for the Eagle Rays. | | |

"I have now logged over two hundred dives with Seasports and have enjoyed every minute. The diving is great, as you never know what is just around the corner. I have seen stingrays, spotted eagle rays, turtles, the biggest lobsters, giant rainbow parrotfish, big grouper, tarpon, and barracuda, green moray eels and the odd eight-foot nurse shark! Not to mention the myriad of smaller fish. There is a relaxed atmosphere on board their dive boat with lots of camaraderie between divers especially those who have made friends and return year after year. Butch and Greg make a great team who bring true professionalism to the operation and I have no hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation."
